When Little Ones Inspire...

I love this tune by Garrett Viggers.

Apparently, how it was composed was quite surprising. The composers young son Judah was playing with his dulcimer - and serendipitously plucked out the first notes of the tune on it. The musician took note and inspired by what he heard - composed the rest of the song.

Then a fellow musician wrote a Celtic jig - so they inserted it into the song. The result is just as he describes: "The first and last half of the song remind me of running an emotional marathon with a nice stop off at an Irish pub to hang with friends before finishing the marathon."

Beautiful!

Here is "Judah's Jig" -
