He is so happy to brush the dust off it and give it a run around the block!
At the rate the snow is coming down - he will be able to take it out tonight too - after work!!!
It is whiteout conditions here.
We are snowed in!
I think I can still safely go and get groceries. Having grown up where snow is no big deal.....what is going on out there is manageable.

I cannot even imagine having that in the front yard.
I'm in Georgia and I believe that this has been the hottest winter ever.
The heat is off at it's 77 degrees in there at 10pm at night!
Last year around this time the entire state was frozen and they shut down all the airports.
The drastic difference is difficult to swallow.
Snow blower!! What has the world come to. . . When I was a little girl . . .(violins please) after walking a mile uphill through 6 feet of snow to our country school . . .
Really, I grew up in Michigan and that product hadn't been invented yet. The snow for 6 mo of the year was miserable. Sometime had to crawl out the window, cause the door was frozen and I had to wear so many clothes, it was a chore to pee. There were never snow days. . .
I could drivel on. Funny thing, we moved South and I have never been back to MI to visit.
I certainly can understand enthusiasm for a snow blower.

Your neighbourhood looks so pretty!
Love the pic of your husband doing what husbands like so much...blowin' that snow.
Finally, we too are getting snowed in...yah...sure beats the treacherous icy conditions we've been having.
cheers.
NN: We were glad to see it - had been very jealous of my cousin in Texas with all the snow they were getting! It doesn't often snow here...my husband had bought the snowblower last year when there were predictions of a long snowy winter. We live on a corner and it's a mandatory city ordinance (or a fine!) to have the sidewalk cleared in front of one's house by 10 am. Having to go to work very early am, it made sense to get a piece of equipment that could do it quickly.
Kev: Funny thing...we were talking about "when we were kids" on FB - but in regards to "snowdays" and not going to school...hahaha! Was no such thing living in the Interior of BC where I grew up! We never had a snowblower either and the snow could be 5 feet plus deep at times with the drifts!
Cowgirl: Yes, isn't snow fun!? We are enjoying it. Used to have a chalet up at Big White Ski Hill up until a few years ago.....was just up at Cypress Bowl a couple weeks ago and it was nostalgic...miss the ski hills!
My husband just commented the other day on how he misses the snow. He'd be jealous of your husband. Especially since I was to cheap to buy him a snowblower when we lived up north!
Honey: My husband is all about gadgets. I never owned so many pieces of equipment in my life! I would be perfectly ok with him going out there and hand shovelling.... but having done it once or twice...well....it's not easy! It does shorten the job by a couple hours and he gets to do the neighbours also!
Amen sista. I'm here with you....
RW: Hope you are still able to get around!! ;) It's all good over here!
